About Amy
I am a BACP-registered psychotherapist and member of British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA), with a specialist interest in reproductive health and complex family journeys.
I work with individuals over the age of 14, and couples, navigating experiences such as:
• Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI)
• PCOS, endometriosis and menopause
• Infertility and IVF
• Donor conception
• Pregnancy loss
• Adoption and complex paths to parenthood
Reproductive challenges can affect far more than the body.
They can reshape identity, relationships, confidence and a sense of future.
Therapy offers space to explore that impact with depth and care.
My Approach
I am an integrative psychotherapist, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor therapy to you.
My work may include exploring:
• Identity shifts
• Grief and genetic loss
• Medical trauma
• Anxiety and hypervigilance
• Relationship strain
• Patterns shaped by earlier life experiences
Some clients come in crisis.
Others come because they want space to think clearly and feel steadier.
You do not have to wait until things feel unbearable to seek support.
Professional Background
Alongside my private practice, I am Chair of Daisy Network, a national charity supporting women with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI).
Through this role, I contribute to medical and psychological advocacy and support those adjusting to diagnosis.
I established a National Lottery-funded counselling service for charity members and have:
• Contributed to discussions at the Parliamentary Women’s Health Committee
• Serve on the board of the POISE research study at University College London
• Acted as an academic collaborator on updated ESHRE medical guidelines for POI
My training includes diplomas in both adult and child & adolescent psychotherapeutic counselling. My continued professional development focuses on infertility, alternative family pathways, couples therapy, reproductive trauma and hormonal health. I am committed to ongoing specialist training in these areas.
I am fully insured and ICO registered.
A Personal Note
My interest in reproductive health and fertility is not only professional, but personal.
I understand how deeply these experiences can touch identity, relationships and a sense of belonging and have navigated my own journey to parenthood alongside a reproductive diagnosis.
This perspective informs my work, but therapy remains your space, centred on your story, your pace and your needs.
